Third Annual Report of the State Mineralogist, 1883. GFB listed as a donor. He is listed as a donor in several issues during the 1880's, the same era as he is listed as a donor in the State Museum of CA catalogue posted by David.
Transactions of the American Institute of Mining Engineers, 1890. George listed as a member (his location is listed as New South Wales [a southeastern state in Australia]).
Transactions of the American Institute of Mining Engineers, 1893. George publishes an article about the Zeehan and Dundas Smelting Works (there might be some pictures in here we can use, team PL!).
The Mines of N S Wales, 1897. George patents something to do with "improvements in the extraction of gold and silver bearing pyrites from their containing material..."
